We are great supporters of British food companies, here’s just a few facts about some of our products. All of our chicken is from the UK and halal. Our special BIRD seasoning is gluten and allergen free and made especially for us in the UK. The Roquette grows in Shropshire. Our Kaleslaw is produced in the UK. Our waffle mix is vegetarian and made in the UK. Our Turmeric spiced tortillas are made in Coventry.
All of our chicken is from the UK, from sources that are BRC and ACP accredited. Our suppliers are Red Tractor assured and offer us premium halal chicken which goes to make our delicious BIRD burgers & waffles.
We believe Rapeseed oil is the best on the market; it contains the lowest saturated fat content and is a good source of Omega, Vitamin E and is high in monounsaturated fats (the good kind).
Our Pink waffles contain colours E102 (tartrazine) and E122 (carmoisine) and our Blue waffles contain colour E122 (carmoisine), each of which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Plain waffles are available as a substitute.
These fries stay hotter and crispier up to twice as long as traditional fries due to the invisible potato starch coating. This trim cut skin-on fry is a unique, thin rectangular shape that stands apart from a regular cut. They are Vegetarian and vegan and are made by leading manufacturer Lamb Weston.
Our Brioche buns are made in the UK and have a real depth of ﬂavour due to 2 wonderful ingredients, eggs and butter which give the Brioche its buttery, sweet taste. The most crucial aspect of a brioche bun is that it remains sturdy enough to support our delicious crispy chicken thighs along with all the extras which is why we’ve chosen it as our bun of choice.
We love fried chicken, it’s what we do. Ours comes from a Red Tractor assured supplier, its marinated in British buttermilk, tossed in our secret spice mix and fried in 100% British rapeseed oil, fresh to order.
Our procurement team have now made available a wide range of disposable products made from plant-based or compostable materials to all our sites and for our deliveries too. We are forever striving towards a more sustainable future.
We serve halal certified chicken across all our sites. It is of the utmost importance to our brand to ensure complete Halal integrity.
